Sticky Situation

Phone rings at work.....a call from our office out East.....
Me: "Hello?"
Caller: "Hi Kristen, is Tom there?"
Me: "No, he's not in yet....is this Carol?"
Caller: "Uh...noo....it's Bill...little different..."
...And then I died a little inside of embarrassment.
